On August 6, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, along with the campus executives and faculty members from Food Technology Program, welcomed Mr. Wachira Kaewkor, Deputy Director of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), serving as Acting Director of One-Stop Service Center for SMEs, along with a team of executives from OSMEP and regional managers of the One-Stop Service Centers.

The purpose of the visit was to hold a discussion on future collaboration between Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus and OSMEP, focusing on enhancing the capacity of local entrepreneurs. The meeting aimed to establish mechanisms that connect academic knowledge, innovation, and technology from the university to the business sector through partnerships between academia and government agencies. Both parties also explored the possibility of launching joint projects in the future.

On this occasion, the delegation visited the laboratory facilities and toured the surrounding areas of the Kanchanaburi Campus.
