Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus Receives Honorary Award from the CCE Children & Youth Network Assessment 2025

On August 20, 2025, Mr. Krid Khaobang, Assistant to the Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, together with Dr. Wimonmas Boonyangyuen, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management, students from the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management program, and members of the KA ENVI PROTECTION Club with the project “Adding Value to Organic Waste through a New Sustainable Lifestyle”, received the Silver Standard Award in the 2025 CCE Children & Youth Network Assessment.
The award ceremony was held during the National Conference of Children and Youth Networks for Climate Change and Environmental Action in Thailand, which recognized outstanding projects under the CCE Children & Youth Network Assessment 2025. The event was organized by the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, on August 20 – 21, 2025, at TK Palace Hotel & Convention, Bangkok.
This conference served as a platform for children and youth to exchange ideas and present their perspectives on climate change issues. It amplified youth voices, empowered them to contribute to addressing the climate crisis, and celebrated their achievements. The event also fostered knowledge-sharing and strengthened youth-led initiatives, aligning them more closely with national and international climate policies and strategies
