Reuniting Camaraderie of Eurasian Geosciences
Division of Geoscience, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (MUKA) in conjunction with geoscience academic institutions, public and private sectors in Thailand and beyond are organizing the first Mahidol University International Geoscience Conference 2024 “MUIGC 2024” at Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus, Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi, Thailand from the January 9th to 16th, 2024.
This conference is a meeting that emphasize on solving challenges in understanding geoscience of Eurasian terranes. The MUIGC 2024 conference is a venue for geoscientists from relevant disciplines to have brainstorming sessions that will provide of current advancement geoscience knowledge of this region.

Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (MUKA), Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, THAILAND
The campus is located in the Triassic dolomitic limestone mountains approximately 2 hours by car from Bangkok. It hosts diverse geological features as well as flora and fauna species of Thailand.
NOTE January is dry season in Kanchanaburi and, little rain is expected during the conference and post-conference excursion. Daytime temperatures will average about 30 – 35 degrees Celsius. Sunscreen and insect repellent are highly recommended.
