Program Core Value

The Accounting program targets to produce graduates with the Bachelor’s degree in Accounting under the regulation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and Thailand Federation of Accounting Professions (TFAC) under royal patronage with desired qualities of Mahidol University graduates. Graduates will have knowledge and skills in accounting and other related sciences and are able to integrate the knowledge and skills gained and apply them effectively in work. Graduates will be able to work in both government agencies and the private sector with morality and professional ethics and the awareness of the value of the accounting profession including the willingness of lifelong development.

The Accounting program aims

• to equip the graduates with technical competence, professional skills, professional values and attitudes in accordance with International Education Standard, including the ability to adapt in a dynamic business environment.
• to enhance graduates to show the moral, the professional ethics, the value of the profession of accountancy, and the professional responsibility
• to develop the graduates the skills of collaboration with diverse groups of people including colleagues, supervisors and subordinates.

By the end of the program, graduates will be able to

1. Apply technical competence, professional skills including knowledge in related disciplines in order to perform accounting professional practices effectively
2. Demonstrate generic/soft skills including communication skills, teamwork skills in order to perform accounting professional practices effectively.
3. Realize the professional values and responsibility towards yourself and society.
4. Conduct oneself in accordance with the code of ethics in the accounting profession.
5. Continuously develop oneself to support a dynamic business.
