Program Core Value

The educational philosophy of the program focuses on learner achievements through “learning-centered approach” to self-development of knowledge, abilities, and new skills.

The Food Technology Program strives to prepare the graduates to have morals and ethics, excellent knowledges and professional skills; to continuously create and develop novel knowledge for food technology field; and to serve community and society and to work in government or private sectors, or self-employment.

The program’s objectives are to produce graduates with the following abilities;

1. Use knowledge and skills in food science and technology to work as food technologists 
2. Conduct fundamental experiments in food laboratory for analysis of basic food quality
3. Analytically think, problem-solve and conduct research on food technology field considering the local and global factors
4. Self-improve using the right technologies and the reliable sources of knowledge
5. Own good attitude towards their jobs, high-responsibility, and co-operative with respecting the differences among others
6. Have moral and ethics towards work
7. Communicate effectively with different groups of audience

1. Apply knowledge and skill in food technology and related field to work as a food technologist for producing safe food products in the food industry by meeting the constantly changing food regulatory standards
2. Conduct experiments using food processing equipment, analyze basic food qualities with focus on safety in accordance with laboratory standards and effectively utilizing laboratory resources
3. Conduct research in the field of food technology for problem-solving or product development using appropriate scientific research methodology, and working with good ethics
4. Convey clear message with appropriate methods in oral and written communication in Thai and English with an audience possessing varying degrees of food technology knowledge
5. Work effectively as a team, both in leadership roles and as a member of the group
