Workshop on “Sensory Evaluation: Basic Principles to Prepare an Evaluation for the Food Industry”
On January 10, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amnat Jarerat, Assistant to the President for Kanchanaburi Campus, along with faculty members from the Department of Food Technology, warmly welcomed Dr. Apinihan Phiwphan, General Manager of the Sensory Science Laboratory, CPF RDC@WN, as the guest speaker for the workshop on the topic “Sensory Evaluation: Basic Principles to Prepare an Evaluation for the Food Industry.”
This workshop, organized under the project aimed at strengthening the Department of Food Technology’s collaboration with the industry, was conducted for Food Technology students and other interested participants.
The primary objective was to equip students with knowledge and understanding of sensory testing preparation for food manufacturing environments and to enable them to apply the fundamental concepts. The session also aimed to prepare students for industrial work, foster collaboration with the private sector, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and innovation development aligned with future market demands.
The project was overseen by Lecturer Rarisara Impaprasert, a faculty member of the Department of Food Technology, and held at the Co-Working Space, 1st Floor, Lecture Hall, Kanchanaburi Campus.
