On 30 January 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, together with faculty members from Geoscience Program, attended the MOECO Scholarship Award and Signing Ceremony to present scholarships to Geoscience students. On this occasion, he also expressed sincere appreciation to the executive representatives of Mitsui Oil Exploration Company, Ltd. (MOECO), led by Mr. Ken Takagi, General Manager of the Bangkok Office, for their generous support in providing educational scholarships.

For the academic year 2026, three Geoscience students were awarded the MOECO Scholarship as follows:

Ms. Pichamon Buanoo – fourth-year student

Ms. Banthita Luanlert – third-year student

Ms. Eakrawee Nainyam – second-year student

On this occasion, the scholarship recipients also participated in the scholarship agreement signing ceremony with Mitsui Oil Exploration Company, Ltd. The objective of the scholarship program is to promote and support academically outstanding students who need financial assistance, enabling them to further develop their knowledge and capabilities for the benefit of society and their future professional careers. The ceremony was held at The Atelier Hall (4th Floor), Le Méridien Bangkok, Bangkok.
