MUKA is a safe and secure campus. Our uniform security team is available to help 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. A network of security cameras covering all main areas is monitored 24/7 by the one-stop security control room guarded with the security team. For the retention period of CCTV recording, please check at our privacy notice for CCTV security.
Secure electronic doors are used to access nearly all buildings, accommodations, and shared common rooms using keycard and QR code from We Mahidol Application for identification.
Automatic RFID gates for entering and departing the campus are provided for security. The entrance and exit gates are also monitored 24/7 by our security team and recorded by CCTV.
Fire alarm system and fire extinguishers are prepared for all buildings and accommodation. Staff and students are trained annually for first response to any fire alarms and emergencies. Moreover, we also have a fire extinguisher truck standby at the MUKA campus which can be used immediately by our training staff.
Two buildings; including administrative office and general education building, have been accredited by “Green Office” which safe and secure is one of the main parts being certified. The student and staff awareness as well as the protocols for safe and secure management are internal and external audited. This is to ensure that our workplace is safe and secure.
All students and staff, prior to being allowed to use the equipment in the laboratory, need to be trained for laboratory safety. In addition, nearly all laboratories are certified by “ESPReLs” and “Peer evaluation” in order that anyone who uses equipment or conduct the experiment will be safe.
