Agricultural Science (AG) Students – Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus explore field trip
First-year students from the Agricultural Science program (AG23), along with student mentors from the second year (AG 22) and faculty members, participated in a field trip to various institutions across the public, state enterprise, and private sectors. The trip aimed to enhance knowledge exchange and learning in the field of agricultural science. The institutions visited included:
1. National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province
2. Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
3.Plant Protection Agricultural Technology Promotion Center, Department of Agricultural Extension, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
4. EGAT Learning Center, Lam Takong, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
5. Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR), Creative Agriculture Innovation Expertise Center, Lam Takong Research Station, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
6. National Corn and Sorghum Research Center, Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
7. Thai-Denmark Dairy Farm, Dairy Farming Promotion Organization of Thailand (DPO), Muak Lek District, Saraburi Province

The objective of the field trip, held from June 16 – 20, 2025, was to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in science and agriculture, inspire future career paths, and introduce potential internship and cooperative education sites across various industries.
