On April 3, 2024 Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharra Chintakovid, Assistant to the Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus in Education, warmly welcomed the Committee of the Council of Engineers Thailand (COET), led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanes Weerasiri, President of the COET, along with the Subcommittee of Welfare and Member Relations and Committee of the Council of Engineers Thailand. The purpose of this visit is to meet the faculty members and students of the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management Program (ED), Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, to introduce how to apply for accreditation in engineering programs by Thailand Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (TABEE). In this regard, three of the committee, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanes Weerasiri, President of the COET, Asst. Prof. Pisit Saeng-Xuto, Asst. Prof. Dr. Panich Voottipruex, subcommittee of Welfare and Member relations, was honored to be a special speaker for students of the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management Program (ED) on the topic of “COET Introduction and How to apply for engineering license” and “Guideline to apply for membership and a license for professional practice at the Associate Engineer level” to be a guideline for ED students in pursuing their future careers. The meeting took place at the Nillakan Meeting Room, Lecture Hall, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus, and via an online platform.
