เมื่อสำเร็จการศึกษาแล้วบัณฑิตสามารถประกอบอาชีพโดยตรงได้ดังต่อไปนี้
1. ผู้ช่วยวิจัย/นักวิจัย/นักวิทยาศาสตร์/นักวิชาการ/เจ้าหน้าที่ให้ข้อมูลความรู้ โดยทำงานได้ทั้งในฐานะผู้ปฏิบัติงานและผู้ประสานงานของโครงการเกี่ยวกับการจัดการอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ การจัดการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
2. เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายกิจกรรมด้านความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมขององค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน
3. ประกอบธุรกิจหรือธุรกิจเพื่อสังคม (social enterprise) ที่มีความเป็นมิตรต่อระบบนิเวศและสิ่งแวดล้อม และมุ่งหวังการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้บัณฑิตยังสามารถประกอบอาชีพอื่นๆ ได้หลังจากที่มีการฝึกอบรมและสอบใบอนุญาต หรือศึกษาต่อในระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพเพิ่มเติม เช่น ครู อาจารย์ นักวิเคราะห์และประเมินสภาพสิ่งแวดล้อม มัคคุเทศก์
