Vision

FTP aims to produce graduates with excellent knowledge, skills and professionalisms, engagement in life-long learning to further their knowledge and skills in the food technology field, readiness to serve the society and demands in government or private sectors, and capability to work as self-employed.

Program objectives

To produce graduates that are able to:

  1. Use knowledge and skills in food science and technology to work as food technologists either in food production, food quality control and food product developments in the food industries
  2. Conduct fundamental experiments in food laboratory for analyze and evaluate basic food quality
  3. Analytical think, problem-solve and research on food technology field considering the local and global factors.
  4. Self-improve using the right technologies and the reliable sources of knowledge
  5. Own good attitude towards their jobs, high-responsibility, and co-operative Respect the differences among others
  6. Have moral and ethics towards work
  7. Communicate effectively with different groups of audience

Program Learning Outcomes

PLO

  1. Apply knowledge and skill in food technology and related field to work as a food technologist for producing safe food products in the food industry by meeting the constantly changing food regulatory standards
  2. Analyze basic food qualities using appropriate laboratory techniques following best ethical laboratory practices and effectively utilizing laboratory resources
  3. Conduct research in food technology related to troubleshooting or product development to address current challenges in food industries at local, national, and global levels based on economic, societal, and environmental conditions, using appropriate scientific research methodology, and working with good ethics
  4. Convey clear message with appropriate methods in oral and written communication in Thai and English with an audience possessing varying degrees of food technology knowledge
  5. Work effectively as a team leader or a team member to promote good collaborative working environment
