We concern about your safety especially during practicing in the laboratory. Therefore, procedures and management processes of our laboratories have been followed by laboratory safety standard. All MUKA laboratories used chemical substances have been certified by “ESPReL” (Enhancement of Safety Practice of Research Laboratory in Thailand). Some laboratories have been screened to be evaluated by “Peer Evaluation” which are certified with perfect scores for all seven aspects. Further details could be found in the following link. In addition, one laboratory is certified by ISO 17025.
Accordingly, all students and staffs who want to use laboratories, need to be trained for laboratory safety. Students need to learn online course as shown in the following link and get certificate from “MU LabPass” which is conducted by COSHEM (Center for Occupational Safety, Health and Workplace Environment Management). We also have intensive online courses given in “MUKA e-learning” so you can learn and evaluate your understanding by taking online or onsite examination. Once you get the certificates from MU LabPass and from our MUKA safety courses, you have to follow procedures in the laboratories strictly.
