Detail: Mahidol University has promoted and supported those admitted by the university. and students who genuinely lack funds to have the opportunity to study until completing a bachelor’s degree by allocating the university’s income budget to provide scholarships to Mahidol University students

Number: Less than 400 scholarships per academic year, divided into two types as follows:

    1. Ongoing scholarships for 2nd-year students and up in all disciplines, according to the study plan set

by the program until graduation, the scholarship rate is 50,000 baht per academic year.

    1. Annual scholarship For students of all grades, the scholarship rate is 50,000 baht per academic year.

  • Name of scholarship: Mahidol University Alumni Association Scholarship

Detail: Mahidol University Alumni Association, Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, was established in 1991 as a center for graduating university alumni relations. Returned to participate in the promotion and development of Mahidol University and has set up the Mahidol University Alumni Association Education Fund. Its purpose is to provide scholarships for tuition fees and monthly expenses to underfunded university undergraduate students. Well-behaved and committed to education

Number: 40 scholarships per academic year for tuition and living expenses

  • Name of scholarship: Funds from external sources.

Detail: Funds are funded from external sources such as government agencies/banks/companies/department stores/foundations/public charity organizations, and people with good faith donations. Applicant Students can follow up from the public relations forums at the Education and Student Affairs departments. or website of the Student Affairs DivisionNumber: Approximately 200-250 capital, 5,000 – 60,000 baht per capital (depending on the details of each source of funding)

grants and support

  • Name of scholarship: University Emergency Scholarship

Detail: A student who has suffered a severe accident that affects the family status until it may be detrimental to education, such as the death of a father or mother, a house fire, students can contact the Education and Student Affairs Office

Number: Only for emergencies that affect students’ education, 5,000-15,000 baht per scholarship

Loan funds for students in needed

  • such as accidently lost their money, their parent cannot afford money in-time and they may need to use the money as soon as possible. Students can loan between 500-5,000 THB and must pay back within 6 months without interest.

Thai Government Loans for education

The objective of Loan funds for education is to provide loans for students who lack of financial supports to pay for their tuition fees, everything related to education and living expenses. Loan funds consist of 2 types as follows:

  • SLF type (https://op.mahidol.ac.th/sa/studentloan) for university tuition fees but not exceed the funds limitations and living expenses total 26,400 THB per year.
  • ICL type (https://op.mahidol.ac.th/sa/studentloan) for university tuition fees but not exceed the funds limitations but loaner must study in main demand programs and clarity of work force production according to the fund committee’s announcement.
Scholarship Program Details of Scholarship Criteria
Thai Government Loans 60,000 – 70,000 Baht per year
– The loan with interest has to be repaid two years after graduation		 1.       Thai nationality

2.       Full-time student

3.       CUM-GPA of 2.00 or above

4.       Annual income of parents does not exceed 360,000 Baht

5.       Attended the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for 36 hours

Student Employee Scholarship

Students will be employed for working in Administration Office of Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus. Students who qualify must complete the Portal’s General Application to apply all year round and shall be considered during May to August. The application is available and must be completed each year.

Rate of payment: 300 baht per day (or 40 baht per hour)
