ED Innovation Day 2025
On May 13, 2025, the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management Program organized the “ED Innovation Day 2025” for 2nd- and 3rd-year students of the program. The objective was to enhance undergraduate students’ creative communication skills and to inspire them to present innovative ideas to solve problems. The event included a hands-on workshop on developing business models using the Business Model Canvas and a business innovation pitching competition (commercial pitching). The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Suphatchai Rujakom, a faculty member of the graduate program, as the guest speaker, and faculty members from the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management Program who served as judges.
A total of 39 students participated and presented their projects, with 11 innovations submitted for the competition. The awarded projects were as follows:
1. First Prize: Innovation “Disaster Puzzle,” presented by Ms. Pichana Saisaard, Ms. Kitchinnaphat Singhadet, Mr. Chawanwit Antasee, and Mr. Teerawat Buangam
2. Second Prize: Innovation “Hi-So Pig House,” presented by Ms. Paweenuch Tankittikul, Ms. Boonyisa Liaochanthon, Ms. Thanaporn Chamnankit, and Ms. Apisara Klaharn
3. Honorable Mention: Innovation “Kai Pham: The Miracle Plant to Alleviate Food Shortage,” presented by Mr. Mcpol Taengdaen
