Establishment of growth model using fertigation program and environmental data for high sugar content in tomato production

Asst. Prof. Dr. Charturong Chanseetis and students in the Division of Agricultural Science at Kanchanaburi Campus have established a growth model using a fertigation program and environmental data to produce high-quality tomatoes, especially those with high sugar content. Tomatoes are rich in calories, lycopene, vitamins, and minerals, but inappropriate weather and water management are important factors for high-quality tomato production. A cutting-edge technique is being utilized to collect environmental data to create a decision-support system for an autonomous fertigation controller system for high-sugar content tomato production.
