Did you know that Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus has already been awarded for winner of bird watching for many consecutive years? The national competition is hold by Bird Conservation Society of Thailand. Over 200 species of bird have been observed in our campus. This may imply that our campus has very high biodiversity and is suitable for enhancing environmental literacy (according to HIDEF extra-curricular activities). Since 90% of the 10 – sq.km. area of the campus is preserved for forest area. Therefore, students and staffs who are interested in this field will have very good experience to observe many species of birds.
