On June 19, 2023, Mr. Krid Khaobang, assistant to the Vice President for the Kanchanaburi Campus in Operation and Environment, along with staff from the Division of Dormitory and Development Training Center and the Division of Physical and Environmental, welcomed and received the evaluation from the Evaluation Committee for the Green Residence housing project, which aims to be environmentally friendly. The evaluation committee was led by Ms. Pornpimol Somneuk, an environmental expert from the Department of Environmental Quality Promotion.

Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (MUKA) presented the results of their work in each category according to the criteria and indicators, such as environmental and energy management policies, environmental management, livability, and safety. The evaluation committee conducted interviews and site inspections at the following dormitories: Kan Phai 1 Dormitory, Kan Phai 2 Dormitory, and Kanlapapruek Dormitory.

The evaluation results, along with the committee’s comments and suggestions, will serve as guidelines for the future development of an environmentally friendly residential environment at MUKA.
