On August 5, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Sompop Prathantunarug, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development and Social Engagement, extended a warm welcome to the AUN-QA Assessor Team on the occasion of the 462nd AUN-QA Programme Assessment at Mahidol University.

The opening remarks of the assessment were delivered by Dr. Yu Un Oppusunggu, AUN-QA Council Member and Chief Assessor, at the Professor Emeritus Dr. Nathee Raksapolmoung Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University.

On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, along with the executive team and faculty members of the Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology program, attended the opening ceremony and participated in the programme assessment process, which took place from August 5 – 7, 2025.

The assessment was conducted by two distinguished assessors: Prof. Dr. Suzeini Binti Abd Halim (Lead Assessor) and Dr. Glenn V. Alea (Assessor). The evaluation included interviews with university administrators, curriculum management committee members, faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders of the Conservation Biology program at the Nilkan Meeting Room, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus, from August 5 – 6, 2025. The assessors also visited the learning, research, and academic service facilities.

The assessment concluded with an oral presentation of the assessment results on August 7, 2025, held at the Professor Emeritus Dr. Nathee Raksapolmoung Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Office of the President, Mahidol University.
