On July 13, 2023, Dr. Amnat Jarerat, Assistant to the Vice President of Kanchanaburi Campus for Academic Affairs and International Relations, along with faculty members from Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus (MUKA), welcomed a delegation from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), France. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Serge Morand, Visiting Scholar and Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the development of their collaboration on the “International Research Laboratory (IRL) Health, Disease Ecology, Environment, and Policy (Health DEEP)”. The IRL focuses on the study of biological diversity and infectious disease ecology in small mammals and their link to human health. This event took place at the Institute of Tropical Disease, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus.
