Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus received awards for exemplary laboratory safety from COSHEM in 2022, presented by Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University. The following prototype laboratories received awards for the year 2022: Molecular and Microbiology Lab (L-301), Freshwater Biology Lab (L-205/1), Agricultural Biotechnology Lab (L-305/1), and Advanced Instrument Lab. Additionally, Geochemistry Lab (L-102/2), Food Analysis Lab 2 (L-305/2), Radiation Lab (L-104/1), Chemistry Lab (L-101), and Microbiology Lab (L-103) received the Peer Evaluation award. The awards were presented during the 7th Safety Day event at Mahidol University’s Salaya Campus on April 28, 2023, which aimed to promote awareness of occupational health and safety and demonstrate the university’s commitment to preventing accidents and developing sustainable conditions
