On May 13, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thatchavee Leelawat, Vice President for Kanchanaburi Campus, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Akihiko Matsuoka, President of T-MEC Co., Ltd., Japan. The ceremony also featured Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharra Chintakovid, Assistant to the Vice President for Education at Kanchanaburi Campus, who co-signed as a witness. The event was attended by executives and faculty members from Kanchanaburi Campus, Ehime University, and Iyo Bank.

In this regard, Dr. Acharee Kaewlaoyoong, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management, served as the coordinator of this collaboration. The MoU aims to foster academic cooperation, provide internship opportunities for students, enhance student potential for the future, and promote joint academic conferences and collaborative research in the field of Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management.

Moreover, student interviews were also conducted to offer opportunities for those interested in participating in cooperative education exchange programs, allowing them to gain hands-on experience through real-world work placements in Japan.
