Seminar I
A third-year student in the program of agricultural science must prepare a topic of interest for oral presentation in Seminar I by searching for modern and interesting research papers and academic papers related to agricultural science. Students are required to synthesize information from three research papers of interest and rewrite them according to research writing guidelines, including title, abstract, content, conclusion, and references, in accordance with academic standards. For the oral presentation, students present the topic of interest using various media in either Thai or English. This course provides students with academic skills, including reading, writing, critical thinking as well as communication skill. The course also responds to Mahidol HIDEF in the matter of “I: Internationalization,” which is a part of developing students to be global citizens and global talents and to have knowledge in living in the 21st century.
