The Agricultural science program from kanchanaburi campus organized a sport activity among agricultural students from three Campuses, which include Kanchanaburi Campus (KA): Agricultural Science, Nakhonsawan Campus (NA): Sustainable Agriculture for Health and Entrepreneurship, and Amnatcharoen Campus (AM): Agriculture, for the first year. Faculty members and students from KA, NA and AM campuses actively participated in the activities and engaged in listening to the sharing of experiences and career paths from alumni from these three campuses at MLC, Salaya Campus.

This project is organized to foster relationships among students, faculty, and staff in the agricultural field across campuses, as well as to establish connections and foster cohesion within their respective programs. The inaugural sports event took place on November 4th, 2023, with Dr.Prapapan Sawhasan Chuthamas, Head of the Department of Agricultural Science, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus, initiating the project.

Dr. Prapapan Sawhasan Chuthamas, along with Dr. Prapaipit Suwitchayanon and Kantapong Sinarpa; second, third, and fourth-year students of Agricultural Science, Mahidol University Kanchanaburi Campus, jointly hosted the event for the first time. This project is an extracurricular activity aimed at enhancing various skills of students, such as teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, effective communication, and fostering a sense of responsibility, which students learn through real-life situations. It also promotes the development of a public-minded attitude, which is an essential quality desired by graduates of Mahidol University. Graduates must not only have knowledge from textbooks, or “depth of knowledge”, but also have “breadth of knowledge” in life and work skills, be adaptable to change, continually develop themselves, and strive to become graduates desired by the modern world, capable of making beneficial contributions to society and the nation, becoming Global Citizens who will continue to benefit society and the country in the future.”
