Survey Camp 2025
On May 13, 2025, Dr. Acharee Kaewlaoyoong, a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management and course instructor for “Surveying for Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management,” together with faculty members and students in the program, welcomed Dr. Pattarapol Jindasiriphun along with lecturers and 61 second-year students from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, to participate in the Survey Camp 2025. Mr. Suphat Prasopsin, an expert scientist, served as the guest speaker, providing knowledge and training to the visiting civil and environmental engineering students in field survey techniques such as leveling, route surveying, and data processing for topographic mapping. The training also covered equipment usage including the Theodolite, Total Station, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs or drones) for aerial photography. Second-year students from the Environmental Engineering and Disaster Management program at Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, who were enrolled in the surveying course, also took part in the event by sharing knowledge and assisting in the practical sessions.
