On May 24, 2024, Dr. Prapapan Sawhasan Jutamas, Head of the Agricultural Science Department, presided over the opening ceremony of the “17th Agricultural Relations Camp for Local Wisdom Creativity,” along with Lecturer Kantapong Sinarpa, the project advisor, students and alumni of the Agricultural Science (AG) program. On this occasion, Ms. Sopista Jitneang, a 3rd-year student, and Mr. Setthawut Muangngam, a 2nd-year student, the camp leaders, led all the students and alumni to organize and volunteer in activities to develop the school. These activities include painting school buildings, improving and repairing agricultural plots, and conducting events with the students from May 24-26, 2024, as well as donating books, supplies, and consumer goods to the school.

In this regard, Ms. Siripen Konmek, the director of Samakkithamanusorn School, along with teachers and students, jointly welcomed all participants from the AG program.

This activity is an extracurricular activity of the Agricultural Science curriculum, allowing students to apply their knowledge and skills learned at the university to real-world practice, benefiting the community at Samakkithamanusorn School, Lumsum, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province.
