UNESCO UNITWIN 2023-Professional Development for STEM education, 1st Workshop on “Build your own self-driving car coding practice using MICRO:BIT”
On May 29, 2023, a hands-on training workshop was held at Kanchanaburi Campus. The workshop focused on the topic of “Build your own self-driving car coding practice using MICRO:BIT” as part of the UNESCO UNITWIN initiative for Professional Development in STEM education.
The workshop was attended by a total of 35 participants, including teachers and students from 3 schools: Ban Wang Singh School, Wat Wang Sala School, and Saiyok Maneekanwitthaya School. The workshop took place at the computer lab in Kanchanaburi Campus, where Prof. Dr. Jungjoo Sohn and the team from Korea National University of Education remotely conducted the training session.
The coordination of the workshop was overseen by Dr. Chutamas Sukhontapatipak and Dr. Nitima Sutapin. The main objective of this program was to enhance STEM education by integrating hands-on learning with microcontroller-based coding and fostering future advancements.
