On March 5, 2025, Dr. Prinya Putthapiban, Advisor to the Vice President for Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, along with Dr. Apivut Veeravinantanakul, Lecturer in the Geoscience Program, warmly welcomed the survey team from the Information and Communication Technology Center, Department of Mineral Resources. During the visit, the faculty members accompanied the team in geological data exploration and provided an insightful lecture on the Geopark and Geoscience Museum, a key learning center for geology in the western region of Thailand. The visit aimed to enhance understanding of the area’s geological characteristics and facilitate discussions on potential geological research collaborations. The survey team is scheduled to conduct an accuracy assessment of geological data and the geological map of Kanchanaburi Province from March 5–7, 2025, covering Mueang, Sai Yok, and Si Sawat districts. This initiative will contribute to future geological research and resource management efforts.
