Workshop on Food Technology: MUKA Presents BP. Tapioca Workshop 2026

On 11 March 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amnat Jarerat, Assistant to the President for Kanchanaburi Campus, presided over and delivered the opening remarks for Food Technology, MUKA Presents BP. Tapioca Workshop 2026. The workshop was organized as part of a strategic collaboration with the private sector to strengthen academic–industry partnerships.
The workshop was jointly organized by Food Technology Program and Banpong Tapioca Flour Industrial Co., Ltd. The training and lectures focused on two key topics: “Food Texture Engineering: Texture Engineering and Food Product Problem-Solving with Modified Tapioca Starch Innovation” and “The Magic of Cold-Process: The Instant Innovation – Transforming Complexity into Simplicity with Pre-gelatinized Starch Innovation.”
The sessions were delivered by Dr. Methus Chuwet, Head of New Product Development at Banpong Tapioca Flour Industrial Co., Ltd., along with his team as guest speakers. The workshop was organized under the responsibility of Asst. Prof. Rarisara Impaprasert, lecturer in Food Technology Program.
The event was attended by faculty members and students and took place at Room R2310, Lecture Building, Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus.
