Off-boarding

Once the employee separates from the MUKA, offboarding process is a need for ensuring a smooth handover of duties, minimizing disruption to the workplace, and helping MUKA gain valuable feedback for the remaining employees.

Offboarding process involves tasks such as

  • Completing necessary paperwork: It is a need to inform us in advance. There are many papers needing to be done.  Please check the duration necessary prior to informing us about separating from the MUKA.
  • Returning property belonging to MUKA: Once you inform us about separating from the campus. Our staff will inform you about returning MUKA property and deleting confident data and information relating to MU and MUKA.  Please also check whether you still hold any personal data in your computer or network or not.  Moreover, IT staff will be informed to cancel your internet account that can access to the MU and MUKA system.
  • Transferring knowledge and responsibilities to other employees: Once you choose to separate from us. Please help us to facilitate knowledge transfer.  This is to ensure a smooth handover of your responsibilities by documenting your tasks and training other colleagues who will take over your work.
  • Conducting exit interviews: We need to understand the reason for your leaving. We have to conduct an open conversation to understand your motivations for leaving.  This can help us identify areas for improvement within MUKA.  We have to express gratitude, thanks for your contributions, and wish you well in your future endeavors.
